Newbridge Primary School Calendar 2009
Please don’t rush out to the shops and buy a new calendar, as we will be producing our very own fundraising Newbridge Primary School Calendar 2009. Each month will display a group photo of all the pupils with a birthday in that month. The photos will be taken on Friday 21st November and on that day we will be asking the children to wear a particular coloured top and/or bring along a seasonal prop (e.g. wellies and umbrellas)! We will give you more information in next week’s newsletter, but in the meantime, please hang onto your pumpkins and poppies, and if you have a pile of dry leaves in your garden, please collect them in a bag! We will be taking orders for the calendar in the week of the Christmas Fair, and will get them back to you before the end of term, so that you can also use them as Christmas Pressies.
We are also looking for sponsors for each month of the calendar in order to reduce overheads - a minimum donation of £25 will feature your company’s logo on one month. If you are interested in this once in a blue moon marketing opportunity, please email npsa@hotmail.co.uk or contact Stephanie Massie via the NPSA tray in Reception by 12th November.
If you would also relish the idea of marshalling over 400 children into 12 photo sets in 1 day and are free for either the morning or afternoon of 21st November, please, please contact Stephanie (as above).
Cake Sale
A big, big thank you to all year 1 and 5 parents who baked and organised such a fantastic cake sale (we liked the way you set out the room - it was much less frantic than usual). Thanks, of course, to everyone who bought and ate all the yummy cakes. We made over £180 which has really set the standard for the rest of the year!
Table Top Sale
There are only a few spaces left for tables, so to grab one of these for a reasonable £5 all you have to do is send an email to npsa@hotmail.co.uk or call Sarah on 07833391970. We do still need volunteers to help take money on the door and sell refreshments on the day - so if you can possibly help for half an hour - please contact Sarah (as above).
Santa's Grotto
The naughty elves have asked if anyone has any old white sheets that they could donate to rebuild Santa's Grotto. If you can help them, please contact the elves at npsa@hotmail.co.uk or leave a message in the NPSA tray in Reception.
NPSA Committee Meeting
The next NPSA Committee Meeting will be held in the Blue Room on Monday the 10th of November at 7.30pm. Please feel free to come along - it is always great to see new faces and old ones too, of course!
NPSA Coffee Morning
The first coffee morning (open to all parents and carers) will now be held in the Blue Room on Monday 17th November and not on Thursday 13th November. The best coffee and company in Bath from 9.00am to 10.00am.
Nearly New Uniform Sales
Thank you to Sarah Kniveton who has volunteered to organise Nearly New Uniform Sales. If you would like to help Sarah, please email npsa@hotmail.co.uk or pop a note in the NPSA tray. Watch this space for more information.
